Sure, 45 bones is a pretty penny- no argument there- but when you put the music of Great Northern, and Nico Stai along with over 35 breweries for a musical beerfest delight of sorts.... 45 dollars doesnt seem so hefty. 


Not like you would need a sip of alcohol to enjoy the magical sounds of Great Northern or Nico stai (or the Dum Dum girls, or Castle door, or the Deadly Syndrome, or..-yes there's more ...) - but a tasty freshly hoped up brew could just make for  a very delightful string of events..... - lucky for you: there's unlimited tasting allll night long.....

EPIC FAIL....

For anyone paying attention (so most likely just my parents) you have probably lost interest now due to the severe lack of love and excitement -  but fret not oh faithful followers - the week from hell is over and PBE is rockin back into motion.


Not to dwell, but there was more than a bit of amazingness that was missed in the hiatus. - Nico Stai shows; Matt costa's sold out show at Detroit - Billabong designed a hotel room in Laguna - Kustom footwear's poolside photoshoot - and much more- but hopefully we can move past this and still be friends....

MO MONEY, MO - STACHE!!

Some may call a hearty fascination with the mustache, "creepy". Well, i say "bite your tongue" because im hard pressed to find anything more glorious, captivating and hilarious than a solid mustache, especially worn proudly on a friend. 

You could imagine my excitement then when a dapper young gentleman friend clued me in on the australian tradition of MOVEMBER. - such inspiration coming from a kid who takes about 6 months to grow peach fuzz on his upper lip... i knew i had to support the cause. -- yes, it is a month long celebration of the mustache in all its rare shapes and forms... a chance to showcase your talents and classiness, but also, and probably more importantly (debatable) is that all of the proceeds go to men's prostate cancer and depression.
